c3 Contemporary - Archive No. 4

I recently photographed installation images for c3 Contemporary's latest Archive Project.

The two-part project creates a visual archive of the Abbotsford Convent gardens and is a collaboration between project director Jon Butt, artist Jessica Hood, with collaborative support from Greg Phelan, Naomi Velaphi, Marg Allan and Fraser Faithful, archivist at The Good Shepherd.

2013 William & Winifred Bowness Prize

I was very honoured earlier this month to be selected as a finalist in the Monash Gallery of Art 2013 Bowness Prize. The 46 finalists were selected from over 500 entrants who submitted some 2500 images for consideration to the prize.

The opening night was a fantastic evening with the curatorial staff at the MGA having done a magnificent job in presenting the finalist works.

Congratulations to Pat Brassington on being awarded the 2013 Bowness Prize.

Upcoming Exhibition

I'm pleased to announce that I will be having a new solo show at c3 Contemporary  opening Wednesday October 23.

The work on show 405 Miles to Chesapeake Bay was created in late 2012 and explores the Potomac River, from its beginnings in the mountains of West Virginia to its finish point, Chesapeake Bay, on the Atlantic Coast of the United States of America.

I look forward to sharing the journey and the subsequent work I created in making it.
